I was looking for turbo kits for my car and the pics it showed had the filter go where my cold air intake, which i already have installed, is. And earlier i was here on yahoo ask and people say that you can have them both . can someone clarify ?

the turbo is located on the right hand side of the engine, and above it is the CAI. the forced induction (airflow) from the turbo is piped directly into the CAI, and key to success of the turbo is an adequate throttle body (intake) to handle the airflow, and retune of the engine management system to increase fuel flow to provide sufficient fuel to meet the new supply of air. additionally larger injectors and in some cases fuel rails may be required (for higher boost installations).
the air supply for the turbo is provided by piping from the exhaust manifolds into the turbo (separated by a wastegate - which limits the amount of exhaust gas entering the turbo).
