What's the best way to secure my audio system in my car?
I have a 1999 Dodge Stratus. My enclosure for my subwoofers takes up all of my trunk space. The car didn't come with an alarm system. Besides getting one, whats the best way to secure all the components of my system from theft?
It's in the trunk. I've broken into my car a few times its quite easy. It worries me.
An alarm system costs a little over 100 dollars installed by circuit city.
What is a cheaper method as most of my money is in my system and I have none left to secure it?
Tinted windows, not promoting your system to the world. You can strap everything down. To make it harder for anyone to get it out fast. If it takes awhile to get it out it's more than likely you'll catch them in the act so they will leave it alone and move to the next car. You can also buy an LED and install it to deter thieves by making them think there is an alarm when there isn't one.
