toyota 4afe auto transmission?
toyota 4afe,trans./axle(A240L/04A)autotransmission gearbox,i wonder y it cant change gear while arive 90km/h,its usual 0-40km/h(1st gear,rpm 2000+r/min),40-60km/h(2nd gear,rpm 2000+r/min),60-90km/h(3rd gear,rpm 2000+r/min),90-125km/h(4th gear,rpm 2500+r/min)while on the 2nd gear turn to 3rd it wont turn,rpm oredy 3000r/min,pedal on fuel,rpm going to 5/6000r/min then it changing gear but meter is 90, rpm is 3000r/min,b4 i drive 1,2&3 gear,rpm is stable at 2000r/min+ but now 3rd gear is 3000r/min,i thought maybe sensor or oil hole get stuck or maybe com board what else matter.same the problem i being replace auto t. oil ,i change the oil coz after driving i realise that cant change gear while 3rd gear and got one time cant change gear even 1st gear.after replace auto t. oil now juz the 3rd gear cant change.any nice solution bout this is this juz a matter sensor or what?
Find a local transmission shop that is ATRA certified. They are listed in the yellowpages and will have the ATRA in the ad.
They can diagnose the problem.
DO NOT go to AAMCO, MrTransmission, or any other store.
