This hawk/falcon/raptor captured and started to eat a bird in my backyard. This is the second time its come around and now im just curious what type of bird he/she is. The bird is about a 1-1.25ft high, and you can see the coloring and shape in the photos:
I live in the suburbs of NY right now.
I think its a Coopers Hawk but if anybody who has some expertise in the area could identify this, that'd be great.

It looks very similar to a Cooper's Hawk.
Could also be a Red-Tailed Hawk.
But it's most likely to be a Cooper's Hawk.
