Can anyone recommend a good Darwin book set?
I have resolved to finally read Darwin's works...Origin, Descent of Man, Expression of the Emotions, and Voyage of the Beagle. They're books I've always meant to read and just have never gotten around to it. I'd like to buy them as a set, if possible, since it usually seems to be cheaper that way, but not in a single volume. I want to write notes in the margins, highlight things, etc, read in bed or on the bus, and that's just not practical with a large tome. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know!
I have "From So Simple a Beginning", with introduction by E.O.Wilson. It contains Darwin's four main books: Voyage of the Beagle; Origin of Species; Descent of Man; and The Expression of Emotions in Man and Animals.

Beautiful collection. But it is indeed a bit of a big tome with all of these under one cover.
So I would go with the Penguin Classics series. These are trade paperbacks, well printed, and cheap enough that you won't feel bad marking them up.

(P.S. I *love* to mark up my books too. In the end it looks like I've wrestled the thing to the ground.
