still need help with my brakes?
ok, when i got my 79 formula it was having some brake problems. when i got it there was no fluid in the rear reservoir so i filled it and bleeded the lines and the rear right was good but the rear left was the problem. there is air in it constantly, after bleeding it a few times it would seem like there was no air, but if it sits for a few seconds air starts coming out again when you bleed it. i changed the master cylinder and started on the side that gave me problems and it still does the same thing.
Oh and it has new rear brake lines and there's no brake fluid leaks
The car has front disc and rear drums
79 formula, ok, you already replace the master cylinder, brake lines, and no leak, and I believe you already use a proper brake fluid. Have you replace the brake wheel cylinder, the seal inside might no longer sealing the brake fluid. If everything is been replacing, the you only need to check and recheck between the connection to make sure no leak. Don't forget to use sealing tape on the thread and sealer at outside. Make sure the nipple is brand new and tight.
