1996 Honda Civic.. Worth Fixing Transmission?
I bought this 1996 Honda Civic (it has just over 100, 000 miles on it) in march of 2009 for 3500. I have put about a Grand into it since then... ( Radiator, Brake lines, master cylinder, Belts). It was leaking a orange Fluid 2 weekends ago, I went and had it looked at and they said it was leaking from the radiator, so i forked over 300 bucks for a new radiator, Well today I was driving down the road, I stopped at a stop sign and then Pressed the gas and I heard a loud grind noise and i lose all control of the car, Couldn't go in Reverse or drive.
My friend says its my transmission... So, If it is my transmission is it worth fixing?
Thanks
your question isnt whether the transmission is worth fixing its more like, is the car worth keeping. If you can buy another car, then do it. if not, get a used transmission put in there for about under 1000 bucks at a shop
