1997 mazda protege/ will a failed power booster cause the brake pedal to go all the way to the floor or is the?
master cylinder the problem?
Did you just have the brakes taken apart? If so, than there could just be air in the lines. If that doesn't apply to your situation than the things you've mentioned may be the problem. Also, check your brakes lines too. I've had a brake line bust (it was rusted through) on me before and that caused my pedal to go all the way to the floor when I hit it hard!
