I have a 1994 Cutlass Supreme with a 6 cylinder 3100 engine. The light behind the instrument panel is out.?
The e-brake light, airbag light, seat belt lights, etc will come on. When I turn the headlamps on, the instrument panel stays dark. A couple days ago, we removed the front of the panel placed a remote start and rca cable at the bottom portion of the instrument display. I don't believe that we jarred anything or moved anything but the plastic cover of the panel. I have checked all fuses, none are blown. Is it possible I just jarred the bulb loose, or blew the bulb? If not, what could be the problem?
I did check to verify that the switch is turned up, and checked the connecting wires that connect to the switch itself.

Check the wiring harness where it plugs into the instrument cluster. Make sure it's plugged all the way in. Sometimes when parts of the instrument panel doesn't work it's just a loose connection. I've seen similar cases like this before. When I brought my T-bird it had the same problem until I took the cluster out, and realized the plug was pushed only half way in.
