Tunnel Ram or Single Plane Manifold?
SB Chev Straight Lpg with twin impco 425's. Edelbrock E-Street Heads, Crane Cam 488. Lift, 234 @ .050 Duration, Hyperteuctic Pistons, Bored Out 40 thou, Tri Y Headers, 3 inch Pipe with Glass Pack. 3:55 Diff. Turbo 400 with 3000 Stall.
I've heard that gas runs better with single plane manifolds. But I want to run two Impco 425's. Should I use a dual adaptor to an Edelbrock Torker 2 or run with a tunnel ram? Chasing Horsepower here.
a dual plane intake is only good for top end speeds, low end torque and power comes fram a single plane intake,i own a 64 model 327 thats built pretty good and its running a single plane intake, with 300 horse heads, good luck.
