2003-2004 SVT Cobra Intercooler Leaking. Thinking of using the unit from www.VTSracing.com, any thoughts?
My 2003-2004 DSG Cobra Vert has sprung a leak from the intercooler inside the intake. I have been reading all over the internet and on the forums that this will lead to the engine locking up. I have checked up on the company that makes them and I have not herd anything but good things about them but I just wanted to see if anyone else had anything to add?
I believe that they make the same intercoolers for the GT500 and Lightning as well. I think that $4-900 is worth spending to prevent my engine from failing dont you?

Inter-coolers do not contain oil, only air. If there is oil in it, it came from somewhere else. I would take it to a mechanic first
