in order to install M112 Eaton Supercharger in a 01 mustang gt!?
what mods with the car need! am looking to increase the hp on my gt! the M112 Eaton Supercharger comes in the svt cobra! also i've been looking at mach 1 ram air for the GT but they are expensive as hell! jaja but theres also the vortech!
The M112 Eaton will not bolt up to your SOHC 2v heads as they are very different from the DOHC 4v heads found on the 03/04 Cobra's that the s/c originally comes out of.
It will take allot of fab work and end up costing allot of money to custom fit the M112 to your GT engine. Though it can and has been done it usually ended up being more of a PITA than anything else. I would ONLY reccommend a person retrofitting an M112 s/c to their GT if they are either a very skilled metal fabricator or machinist.
Your better bet would be to just buy a used Kenne Bell 1.7 liter kit from a fellow Mustang GT owner that has moved up to one of the bigger KB blowers for their GT. You can get a full KB1.7 kit for a REAL good price and it will make more power per pound of boost than that Eaton also.
If you run the KB on your stock bottom end then you can get away with anywhere around 400rwhp with a good tune. Some people have pushed way past that number on their stock 4.6 bottom ends in their GT's but I would not reccommend it.
Overall you have MANY blower choices available to you for your 01 GT. TONS of mods out there for your car.
