When accelerating, my car goes from left 2 right sometimes. When i turn i here some kind of knocking sound. ?
and it sounds like some something is rubbing or grinding together. I just replaced the brakes and rotors so i know its not that. its a 99 taurus. its need 2 new front struts, the coil spring on the front driver side is broken, and i was told that the driver side top strut mount needs 2 be replaced. and it also needs a wheel alignment. Could any of this be the cause?
I would fix all those problems before you condem any other parts in that car...problems in the suspension will casue vehicles to do wierd things...and fix it soon those are dangerous problems if that strut mount comes loose on the highway and that wheel gets ripped out it could flip the car and maybe kill you or someone else.
