What is the minimum horsepower, cylinders, etc. to pull a 24 foot sailboat?
We have towed a 23.5 foot sailboat with a 4 cylinder Dodge D-50 and a Dakota, with no problems. You need a frame hitch, and there are state regulations regarding trailer brakes. Some states have width regulations. Make sure the trailer is big enough for the boat and the truck should be at least of equal weight to the boat and trailer.
