I'm thinking about ordering one but the downpipe they have for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo is unclear. I need a downpipe for my 2005 Evo 8. I know its a Evo 8 because the Evo 9 model has a different body then the Evo 8. They have a downpipe for a 2005 Evo but it's listed for the Evo 9 not 8. So does this mean that i have a 2004 Evo but just listed as a 2005 Evo on my factory paper? The point is that I just need help on which product to order, the Evo 9 downpipe or the Evo 8? And is there a difference between the two?
If you have an Evo8, then I think you should order the one for the 03-04 years. My friend Greg has an Evo8 with a Megan downpipe and I have a 95 GSX with a Megan turbo-back exhaust. I can't say enough good things about it. 
The robotic tig welds are perfect, the flanges are thick, and the width of the pipes makes for a very deep, throaty sound.
The customer service at Megan Racing is also top-notch. I had an issue with recieving one of their older version downpipes (bought it from another vendor) and they cleared up all the information with me over the phone so I could make an exchange. When I got around to ordering the cat-back from them directly, they included a free T-shirt. If you have any questions at all about a product, feel free to call and talk to their tech support.
