How much would it be to buy and install a supercharger kit on a new SS camaro?
I want to put a supercharger on my new SS camaro so people driving a GT500 or a Boss 302 wont be able to talk any crap. I was wondering how much it would be to have a shop buy and install it. Like a ball park of what it would probably cost.Like I want to drop the car off at the shop and then pick it back up with everything done, so i dont run the risk of screwing up my brand new car.
The best plan for the desires listed in your question, is to find a ProCharger dealer. ProCharger centrifugal superchargers are the best turn key bolt on supercharger system out there. It looks great polished and requires no cutting of your engine bay or hood. They are more fuel efficient than PD blowers and have better top end boost than the PD blower on the GT500.
A kit installed and dyno tuned will run $5 to $7K. Having it dyno tuned will be safe on your motor. You will have to run 91+ octane. It may be a bit pricey but adding another 150-190 HP is amazingly awesome.
