how to recalibrate holley carb?
I'm running 2 holley 600 vac. sec. carbs on my 90 Mustang. current mods: 302 ci,9.7 comp.,fully ported world sr, heads 2.05"/1.60" valves, solid roller cam(.574"/.595",238/248 dur @ .050",110lc)formerly had a Parker funnel web intake with a holley 750 db. pumper.this year i'm runnung a wieand tunnel ram with 2 holley 600 vac.sec. carbs. 2- super power shot nitrous plates(100hp each) controlled by a NOS brand progressive unit. 1 3/4" long tube headers,3" exhaust, 3" turbo mufflers. c4 trans,manual valve body,4000 rpm stall converter, 4.56 gear. also, would edelbrock 600's be any easier to tune?
You can purchase what is called "A Trick Kit" for your Holley that will allow you to "play" with it somewhat.
Having used Holleys so much in my over 50 years of car rebuilding, I learned quickly that you had better "double filter them". Those small metering ports get plugged up easily. I always kept a spare Holley ready to go.
