How can i make my exhaust louder?
I just bought some super 44 series flowmasters for my 84 chevy. i have a built 350 in it. i am runnin long tube headers wit 2 1/2 straight pipe to my mufflers then i have little foot long dump down right after my mufflers. the idle sounds great but when i rev up it quiets out a lot. my buddy jus did exhaust on his 350, he did long tube headers 40 series im pretty sure and ran it all the way out with 3 in pipe, and his truck is loud as hell and sounds great. so i am wondering if i should go to 40 series or would taking the dumps off and running tail pipes all the way out make it louder. i want it to be as loud and clean sounding as possible so plz help me out thanx...
the super 44 is the loudest muffler flowmaster has, you buddy's is louder because he is running 3" exhaust.
