internal wastegate ?S DSM?
okay i want to know a little more than i do
i have a stock 2g gst
t25 turbo
with an internal wastegate
say i wanted to make it an external
i kno i would have to weld the exhaust hatch shut on the hot side of the turbo but if i do that would i need a new o2 housing to accommodate the new set up?
help would be great pictures would be awesome!
ive looked all over google and im not understanding any more than i do already...
If you want the external on the exhaust manifold, then weld the wastegate door shut.
If you want the external on the o2 housing, then remove the wastegate door and port the hole open as large as you can.
