how much horsepower would i get in an efi 5.0 ho in a 92 t-bird.?
i just bought a 92 t-bird and stock it has a 5.0 ho engine. im planning to put an airaid throttle body spacer that fits a 94-95 mustang on the 5.0 because of the arched intake on the upper plenum apears to be the same as that of a 94-95 mustang. im also planning on putting a k&n coned air filter on it. along with 1.6:1 roller rockers provided they will clear the pistons with a factory cam. then a plenum spacer and an underdrive pulley kit. a set of flowtech equal length headers with a 3" diameter glasspack. im goind to put 2 electic fans on the radiator and pulling the factory hp robbing fan off. later on im going to be putting this engine into my 61 ranchero. i dont want to put any forced air intakes or no2 on it until then.
That's America's favorite hotrod engine, 5.0 Ford, there is a ton of stuff available for it all over the net...
It sounds like you have a good start on it, try to get a cam like the B303 if you can, headers too.
