Filter Big Shot
cons of a panasonic lumix dmc l1?

I am thinking about buying a panasonic dmc l1 camera, all the reviews say the only down sight is the small dim view finder and high noise at higher iso but I want to know any other cons to this camera, right now I shoot with a holga and an old pentax range finder so it would be a big upgrade. the average cost of the DMC l1 on ebay is around 700, everything on this camera sounds appealing to me, I would mainly shoot in b&w and with inferred filter and mostly taking landscape mid day shots, with the iso normally no higher then 400, so I am wonder if anyone has used this camera and could tell me if it was a good camera or if they were just highly disappointed and why

The cons I can think of are the small sensor in comparison to other DSLR's. The 4/3 system uses the smallest sensor in comparison to all other DSLR's. This means more noise and less detail. Also if you plan on printing your photos at say a one hour printing place they will all need to be cropped. The standard photo print size of 4x6 is a match with the 3:2 aspect ratio of all other digital SLR's and 35mm film. Secondly other manufacturers have more lenses and other accessories available for them.
