How to get more bass out of door speakers?
I have a civic with subs. i decided to upgrade my door speakers and get some 6.5" kenwood to keep up with the subs. After i changed them out i actually got less bass out of them than my stock ones. and i got a new JVC head-unit with plenty of power so thats not the problem. also, i dont have a conversion kit, so the problem is probably due to a bad seal around the speakers, whats a cheap way to fix this?
You need to make sure they are sealed you could damage your speakers. You require a speaker adapter bracket, and you have to re-drill the mounting screw holes. Contact Crutchfield or any audio installer and they should be able to get you the parts.
