What is a complete intercooler kit for my Miata?
Was wondering if this is a complete intercooler set, do I need any thing to connect it with to my turbo kit like pipings or hoses?, or any tips on where I hook it up. Im still new to this, i'm sorry. =(
I found an intercooler on ebay, it says

and these are some of the details about it.

So just wondering, would this be a complete intercooler set, if it is would I be able to install it myself? or would you suggest a professional.

If you do not run the piping right (blow off discharge) and if you fail to add a O2 clamping, the results you get will be disappointing as well as possibly blowing an engine.
You need to match inlet and out let sizes on the system. With out knowing the discharge size of the turbo compressor no one can tell. So you will need some adapters some where. The nose has to come off to mount the intercooler. So unless you know what you are doing, read up and get the information on what works from those that have failed and succeeded.
FYI, just saw a letter in "Grassroots Motorsports" October 2009 from a reader who put a turbo charger on his 91 Miata, and lost his insurance for the up-grade (page 36). He is 37 and owned his for 18 years. Even us older drivers can get big insurance bumps for this modification. Younger drivers may find out that they just built themselves a garage queen.
