I'm trying to get at least 5 more miles the gallon, gas wise, and a tad bit more horsepower to my engine. I'm thinking of going with the Flow Master muffler, new intake, and under drive pulleys, then locking wheel hubs to allow the front wheels to turn freely and reduce drag. Any advice?
just adding the muffler alone wont help it enough to notice on gas mileage,adding the complete system will help it some,but one thing on the 4.7 engine those run pretty good from the factory,so adding the complete system wont always help those on gas mileage,you,ll notice a performance gain on it,but for the amount of money it will cost you ,you wont gain enough on gas mileage to pay for what it will cost you to do this,you wont gain 5 miles to the gallon from it,if they would gain that much Chrysler would add the system from the factory,this would help them sell more vehicles,all the gains you hear about aren't always true,good luck.
