My vehicle is a 1990 F150 s-cab 5.0L V8 with dual in tanks. I am trying to figure out if there is an inline fuse because I found an open circuit in a wire behind the fuel tank selector switch. I fixed it and now the truck just cranks over, nothing more. So I then did a test on running the fuel pump continuously with the engine off by grounding the fuel pump on the DLC connector. This test also failed. I also checked the inertia switch it turned out to be fine. I grabbed a volt meter and checked for voltage at the fuel pumps. I got nothing there. I am out of ideas. Any opinions or ideas greatly appriciated.Thanks.
I checked the fuse block and there is no fuse for the fuel system. It would only have a fuse for a diesel 7.5L.
The fuse is usually in the fuse block...Or can try the fuel pump relay under the hood. Or a thing called a CCRM(Constant Control Relay Module). Not sure exactly where they are located on your truck.
