What material for a carb Spacer?
Hi, I'm considering adding a Carb Spacer to My 87' Monte Carlo SS. I have clearance for a 1" spacer under the hood and am going for a 4-hole spacer. But I see alot of materials out there. I heard that wood and phenolic are the best but I can't find anything about Plastic. Is plastic any good? Is it even worth it? (this is a street/semi performance car.)
This may sound crazy, but a few years ago, the hot setup was plywood. It has great insulation properties, is easy to machine, and is dirt cheap.
