i just bought the 1.8 zetec 16v ford focus y reg (2001) and i was wondering what things i could do to it to improve the look/sound of the vehicle,
so far i am looking at alloys and an induction kit with a new exhaust can anyone recommend me some good sites or any ideas?? thanks
i just want something to make it a bit different because you see so many focus's around, nothing to extreme just like darker lights or nicer alloys
The things you mention, namely lights and wheels, are probably the best and most effective changes.
With lights, why not consider LED lights front and / or back... advise you try searching ebay for 'focus led'... I have some Audi (R8) style lights on my 206, which has an in-built LED strip inside the bottom (not just stuck on), and some LED rear lights. These are appearing increasingly on quality makes from the factory, and are a quality modification.
All sorts of lighting options are available, not just LED.
Wheels and lights are relatively simple to change, and can be changed back if you want, when you sell the car.
Think carefully before putting bodykits on, as, apart from being a much more difficult job all round, it can be too easy to go 'over the top' and make the car look tacky, especially if poorly fitted - choose carefully.
AN exhaust will obviously give you some noise... remember to think about a nice-looking tailpipe aswell!
