The new Lancer GTS has a 2.4 liter engine with 168 hp. I test drove one of these guys and I really loved it. With a manual transmission this car is pretty quick. I'm getting this car because my brother already has the eclipse (really fast car, and i'm used to driving it)
Soooo, that brings me to my question. The GTS is quite quick. But how could I make it even quicker? I don't plan on hardcore racing, but I would love to occasionally put my friend's cars in there place. They all drive scion tc's and civic Si's, cars like that. Without getting a super/turbo charge, are there ways to get your car more HP? My bro said that you can buy better exhaust and air intake kits, and it would add horsepower. But how much HP? And how much does stuff like that cost? Just fill me in =)
the turbo alone is going to cost somewhere around 3500- 4000 then cost of install is going to be around 500-800
but you will for sure put them in there place.
