2001 jeep grand cherokee (wj) lift?
I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I'm going to put a 4" lift on it. I've done research and all that jazz and I still cannot find any good answers to my question.
The kit contains
"Front: Coil springs, lower adjustable control arms with X-flex joints, sway-bar quick disconnects, bump stop spacers, adjustable track rod, transmission cross member spacers, and hardware.
Rear: Coil springs, upper control arm bracket, bump stop extensions, sway-bar brackets, rear shock relocation kit [Keeps shocks clear from tires], and hardware.
Shocks: Includes (4) Performance 2.2 series shocks."
I've heard that anything over 3.5 requires other parts. I want to make sure that before I drop money into a kit that im not going to end up needing more parts. (other than tires and wheels).
i good kit should come with all required parts. the only other thing that i can think of that won't come with a kit, assuming the transfer case is the same as it is on the TJ's, is the CV driveshaft and the SYE. i didn't modify my transfer case until after i installed my 4" lift, but i was using some spacers. once again, i've never been under a WJ, so i'm not sure if the underbelly is set up the same as it is on a TJ.
