Recently I put an exhaust system on my 93 dakota.
The kit came as 409 Stainless steel tubing, with mandrel bends, and a Flowmaster 44 muffler.
Guy that put it on took off the cat also, its a single in dual out exhaust out the back.
It has a real deep, throaty, and an almost old school lopey sound. Pretty loud at idle, but it gets real loud at 3000 rpms in 1st and 2nd gear. Its still loud in higher gears, but the drone sound, that you can really hear inside the truck is not there.
I no loud performance exhausts are usually a plus ecspecially stainless steel exhausts on "hot rods", but im planning onto sell the truck with the current exhaust system, and my truck isn't really a sport truck, so would a person pay more or less for this exhaust system added?
Any "gear-head" is gonna like the exhaust, johnny boring pants might not enjoy it, but he probably is in the market for a mini-van and not a truck.
