OK. So I've asked a few questions similar to this one before, but I'm back again with another question.
Before, I asked about starting a race team (in late model, and sprint/nationwide/trucks) well now I was wondering where I could possible buy INTO a team. Like giving up 1,000 dollars to own like 1% of lets say Michael Waltrip Racing. I know that's far off of what I would actually have to pay. But to own a small part of a team (1-15%) how much would it cost?
Would it be easier/better/cheaper to buy into a team then it would be to start a new one from scratch?
I have one site (www.iteamsports.com) but It's a non-profit organization. If any one could help me out that would be so wonderful.
For a Cup team....you would have to invest at least 1 million dollars and that's a for a team like Kirk Shelmerdine's. Most teams won't let you buy in unless they know you or feel that they can trust you. Bringing money nowadays might get you some sponsorship opps but not owning.
Just an opinion as always.
