Can you consolidate items when creating an invoice from a sales order or estimate?
I just recently started using Quickbooks Premier Contractors 2007 edition. If I have 5 sales orders or estimates for one job and I want to create an invoice for this one customer is there a way to merge all of the like items from the different sales orders/estimates to be one line item on the invoice? When I create my invoice from multiple s.o/est. all of my line items are transferring. i.e. I might have 5 lines that say...50 yellow wing nuts @ .25 ea. I want it to merge all like items to say 250 yellow wingnuts @ .25 ea. Can I do that? Thanks, Carrie
No. You just have to change the quantity and Click the create invoice button. This is one of the reasons why Quickbooks sucks so bad. I'm looking to get rid of it. Quickbooks is an awsome accounting program but a BS Po system.
