How to get the most power out of my 1998 Eclipse GS?
I own a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, and would like to get the most HP out of it, without going turbo. It has the 420a engine, and I don't want to do any sort of swap or turbo, or supercharging. So far I have a Magnaflow 3" Cat, a Apexi N1 Muffler, and an AEM Cold Air. What other sort of performance upgrades can I do? I'm not too good with mechanics, and would probably have a shop do most of the work. I'm not trying to race the car, just want something semi-fast and fun to drive. Thanks.
well headers would work nice also a clutch and light weight flywheel but mostly in my opinion lowering it would make it more fun cause then you can take tight turns and you feel the car alot more i have a 91 Honda Accord with no mods but i dropped it about 2 inches and it just feels faster and i can take crazy coners with it but really depends on what kinda of racing you do....i'm tired of the strait line thing so i do corners now way more fun and i get a better rush
