The system says itll add 8psi which is a lot, even more than some turbo kits, they even work with a manual boost controller. They will guarantee a minimum of a 30% increase of both horsepower and torque. once agian the website is electricsupercharger.net and if anyone has any info or insight on this particular system, im trying to figure out if this is legit any help will be greatly appreciated.
electric superchargers DO NOT WORK. PERIOD. turbos/superchargers spin in excess of 60,000 RPM to generate boost. Look at it like this, supercharger/turbo systems run between $3,000-$5,000 for a complete kit. If the electric superchargers worked and were this cheap why wouldn't everyone get them? I looked at the website, go to the press page and carefully look at the car they "installed" the kit on. It has a picture of the correct car a Integra GSR, but the picture of the motor CLEARLY shows a turbo, wastegate, and blow off valve. Also it has a front mount intercooler. Also enlarge the dyno sheet on that page, the date says it's from 2003!!! The company didn't even exist in 2003. BOGUS. The kit is $99, I mean COME ON are you really that gullible? Also Superchargers CANNOT be controlled by a manual boost controller because they use the pulley system for boost.
