Clutch Pedal has no resistance still! Already replaced clutch mast. cyl., brake mast. cyl., &clutch slave cyl.?
1998 Kia Sephia clutch pedal sinks to the floor with no resistance and doesn't spring back. Inspired by the auto parts store's suggestions, I already replaced the slave cylinder, then when i still didn't have resistance so i replaced the brake master cylinder (for some reason the brake and clutch fluid lines can be traced to the brake master cylinder reservoir). Then I still didnt have resistance so I replaced the clutch slave cylinder. Not only have none of them worked, I now am not getting proper pressure on the brake pedal as well as the clutch pedal still not resisting. i'm pulling my hair out as we speak. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
You will probably have to bleed both the brake and the clutch. Bleeding requires you to open a valve and someone pushes on the pedal, down, holds it down, you close the valve, they let up on the pedal. You will see sputtering as the fluid comes out, bleed until it stops.
Always close the valve BEFORE the other person lets up the pedal, to prevent getting air back in. If they let up while the valve is open, it will suck in air.
Work out a system, where you holler "Down" and the other person pushes down, you open the valve, and when the pedal is down as far as it will go, he hollers "down" and holds it down. You then close the valve, and holler "up" and he can now let up on the pedal. Do this until all the air is out. Refill the reservoir keeping it full or almost. Don't let it get low.
Here's a web site for the clutch, on a 96 Kia, hope they are the same.

As for the brakes, you might have to start at the farthest wheel, and bleed it, then the next and so on. If they are all dsc brakes, you might get off easy, hopefully not have to bleed them much.
