methanol (alcohol) injection?
does any body have usefull information on how methanol injection works and how to make it work most efficiently? can you use it on naturaly asperated or just forced air? what percent mixture should you use?
i'm looking to set this up on a fuel injected engine, with no turbo or blower
I am familiar with water injection, and they mix some alcohol with that to keep it from freezing. It works great. I experimented with mine (Holley cheaper and good for large engines) to get max part throttle power which was also max economy. I ran straight water (summer time). Edelbrock supposedly makes one, too (more expensive, higher quality, more suitable for all size engines).
