Hi i have a 1962 bel air 4 door with a 235 and 3 speed column shift?
i want to know other than motor mounts and tranny mount can i keep the original 3 speed with a v8 ?If i go with a 350/350 combo will i be able to use the stock driveshaft? Many thanks for your help....Mike
no,no,and nobut aluminum drive shafts are fairly cheap dont let this scare you any just make sure you tell the people cutting the d.s. wheather you have a short or long tail tranny best to just measure the distance from tail to rear end (while we are on this subject )HMMMMMMM get a new one of those too (better now then later ) 373 is good ratio for 350 350 combo good luck
