How can I make my Cortina powerful?
HI sorry about my english, i am from russia. I have a 1979 MK4 Cortina, and wish to upgrade my engine. If I replace, what engine would fit?
There is a turbo part shop that have a fitting complete turbo kit for my car, it costs $1500usd. That involves bov, turbo, cooler and so on. But I still need to pay for the labour. I have another option and thats a nitrous oxide NOS kit. That will be $1000usd install. Is there anything else?

If you are going to upgrade the engine you really need to upgrade the suspension to accommodate the stronger engine. I would not however JUST get a nos kit because it would more than likely just blow the older engine.Bigger exhaust promotes better air flow and will help the engine breath better so yes it would help with power as well. As for the price I would look around for a better price.
