i have a '86 mustang gt and i want to do some upgrades..... any suggestions? are there shifters that are levers/switches that can go on the back of your steering wheel? if so what are they called? i want to to put a nitrous system in... should i go with wet or dry? also anything else to increase my speed or power or stability or the looks of my car. thanks!

Go get yourself some AFR heads. You want the 160's and if you want to put a bigger cam in it. Well your gonna have to put notches on the pistons. They in 86 came with flat top pistons with no notches. Sucks ass. Check into a better intake like the Cobra intake which they sell at Summitracing. Go with a 70 mm throttle body and 24 injectors. Then get yourself a 110 fuel pump with adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Go get some headers H pipe and I recomend the Dynomax cat back. They have a sound of there own and give you the better results in power increase. For a stronger transmission go find a World class 90 and up T-5. Never forget subframe connectors always WELD not bolt on. Any mustang increased in power absolutly needs connectors. They are weak body's and will twist. I know from experiance. Good luck.
