oil catch tank......i imagine ur talking about the "sump" this is located at the very bottom of your engine "underneath" and when the car is off and not pumping oil around it flows out of all your oil galleries and filters down to the sump for easy changing..to change wait ten minuites before draining so u get all of the oil and also change the oil filter...make sure u get a non-release filter so all the filterd crap doesnt run down to ur sump. (the oil filter is the white or blue round thing attatched to the side of ur engine)--hope this helps--
and the sump can be removed by about 20 or so 10mil bolts on the underside of your sump 
and to change oil only undo the one bolt "sump bolt" on the very very bottom"
