Question for Audi A4 engines?
Which is Better, Which is better off in the long run. 1.8T, 2.0T, 2.7T, 3.0L or 3.2L? I have a 2007 Audi A4 3.2L Quattro, and I got it a year ago, Just wondering if I made a good choice. It was on a promotional sale for $25,000. Originally it was listed as $30,000. It had 44,000 miles on it when I bought it, now it has 49,200 miles. I have friends that like to modify their cars and they say that the 3.2L are least liked because there is no room in the engine bay to do add ons like turbos and superchargers and the 3.2L are not compatible with Performance exhausts. I dont want to do anything to my car. I am a sucker for originality. I prefer my cars to be stock, 100% original. I dont want no aftermarket part on my German car. If I want a faster car than I will just get an S4 or an R8. Anyway, I know that the 3.2L puts out about 255hp which are now discontinued by Audi, but is it a good engine. Plus I hardly ever see 3.2's anywhere, all I see are 2.0Turbos.
Thanks
It was made by Germans and you haven't "tricked" it out. Therefore, it is a good engine, and a good car. Once people start modifying there cars, and adding non-oem parts is when they become unreliable. If you are staying stock, yes you made a good choice. If you wanted to modify this car then no, there's no room with that beautiful German monster under the hood.
