Pipe Non Catalytic

Pipe Non Catalytic
Would i gain more power if i de cat my r33 non-turbo?

my catalytic converter screwed up and its gonna cost 400 bucks to replace it, i was thinking i should just get a straight pipe thru instead..does anyone know how much it would cost for a straight pipe and whether it would gain any power on a non-turbo skyline r33...

It would NOT increase horsepower. In fact, it would decrease your overall output, and the decrease in the horsepower from the engine to the wheels. Not to mention the fact that your emissions would be through the roof.
