The other possiblities could be the coil pack or the fuel pressure regulator. But with the fuel pressure regulator, if that is bad, would fuel still shoot out of the fuel test port on the Fuel injector line? I just asked a previous question on the same matter
if the fuel press regulater is bad, you will still have fuel to the cylinders. too much, in fact. it wont keep the eng from running. it would just run badly. lots of black smoke at the tail pipe, and maybe a rich code. if you dont have a scanner, then you are either guessing and replacing parts on a guess, or you tow it somewhere to have it fixed.if you have a scanner, go to ecm data, look at engine rpm, and try to start engine. if you have rpm data, then your crank sensor is ok. look at ALL the fuses. do you have spark? do you have injector pulses? there is not just 1 thing to check here. there are many. it would be way cheaper to have it professionally fixed, rather than do a bunch of guessing. if you wanna guess, try a crank sensor. this could do what you describe. can you scan for codes? have a crank sensor code? if yes, there ya go.just remember, if you insist on trying this yourself, if you buy an electrical part, and it dont fix it, you bought it anyway. no returns on these parts. thats why i dont like guessing without some reasonable direction.
