my 2000 ford mustang keeps making a squeaking/squeeling noise?
i changed almost everything..i change the belt tensioner, idler pulley, alternator, power steering pump...and it still makes the same annoying noise. what could make this?? im out of ideas
i also changed belts like 3 times!!
i just saw a diagram and i think the belt is routed wrong!!!! can this be true?
Try sanding the belt with a rough grit. Also try to do the pulleys. Sometimes tar can build up and cuases friction which causes a squeeling noise. If this doesn't help than you may need a tighter belt to get rid of any slack it may have. Hope this helps and good luck.
