Hello, i want to know how to take off my serpentine belt pulleys on my 1995 Mitsubishi eclipse RS..i think they are bent im not sure but i have been threw about 3 serpentine belts now and every time i put them on it either throws the belt or it just splits them in half..or they may even just be a little off and i need to adjust them but i still do not know how to do that..thanks
It sounds like you're either putting the belt on wrong or one of your pulleys is locking up. At any rate, take the bolt out of the center of the pulley in question. It should come off. Some pulleys have an arm on them as an integral part of the pulley. If so, just remove the arm and the pulley will come off with it. Good luck.
