Please help me find the name of this anime?
It was on M TV's Sunday night showcase about 10- 12 years ago. It portrays a veteran gladiator of the future, the narrator says
(paraphrasing) "most players last 6 weeks, he has been here 10 years".
The players race around a huge ring in small rocket propelled ships, all the while attempting to kill their opponents. Towards the end, the main character's body, face, and ship begin to brake apart.
