I have a 73 pontiac grand prix, its frame is solid up to the rear trailing arms.I cant seem to find a replacement frame anywhere.If someone has one or knows if they make aftermarket link system,any thing i am desperate.This car is a family project and now this has got us stumped.Can anyone help me.
This vehicle is not a unibody, and the parts you're looking for aren't available at NAPA. You have a serious problem, and quite frankly might be beyond what most people can handle.
Trunk rot was a common problem on these cars. The frame rusted right behind the rear axle hump. Most people never knew it was bad until they were rear ended.
Depending on the severity of the rot, you might be able to have a talented fabricator make you some replacement frame rail sections. In fact, they've done stuff like this on Overhaulin' and American Hot Rod. It can be done in real life as well!
