How can I stop a bird from attacking my windows?
A male cardinal has been attacking the Yogatorium windows for several weeks now. I put up decals and added long wide ribbons in front of the windows. He seems to be attacking with his feet sometimes and his beak others. Any ideas as to how I can discourage him? I'm afraid for his safety and he disturbs our meditation sessions.
It is attacking its reflection in the glass. It thinks it is another male bird and is trying to drive it away. It will only happen while the breeding season is on. Spray the glass with something to stop it reflecting and the problem will be solved. You can wash the spray off in a few weeks when the breeding season is over.
