Do those "fuel system cleaning" product actually work?
I'm having some problem with my van and I am low on cash. The van tends to fade off everywhere I go. I can switch it on again and it can drive for a few yards but then it switch off again. The problem appears to be the gas lines, pumps, etc (According to people in yahoo answers) I would like to know if these fuel system cleaning product actually work for this kind of trouble.
Also, could it be the spark plugs?
Sorry, there is no liquid mechanic. Also keep in mind that 90% of all fuel problems are electrical and vise verse. You do not have the knowledge base or skill set to find the trouble and fix it. Your best bet is to shop around for a reasonable rate on getting a diagnoses and repair. So far all you have is a bunch of guesses from the internet. No one has actually seen the car and all these guesses are based on your rather poor attempt at describing the symptoms. I say its the ignition switch. How about that! I make this GUESS based on the same information that the others have said fuel system problem. It needs to be tested. Guessing is far far more expensive than knowing.
