I was changing my yz 85 front brake line for a stainless steel brake line but then i realized my handle bars were to tall so it would not fit. But then when i placed the stock brake line back on, i tried to bleed it but there was absolutely no pressure in it, there was no spongy feeling in it. I followed the instructions but it would not get any harder can someone please help me.
You still have air in the system. Try this:
Pull the lever slightly and let it pop back a few times to dislodge air bubbles in the master cyl. Put your tube back on the bleeder and tap the caliper GENTLY with a small hammer or wrench a few times. Then proceed bleeding normally.
I use a MityVac to bleed hydraulic lines.
